About C5 Safety

Workplace-safety AI
shouldn't cost six figures to start.

The market is full of impressive products with one thing in common: a "Contact Sales" page. We think safety teams at mid-market plants, regional contractors, and industrial groups deserve the same computer-vision capability a Fortune-500 EHS team already has — at a price they can actually approve.

Our mission

Make every CCTV camera
in the world a safety officer.

What the name means

The C5 in C5 Safety AI.

Five letters, repeated across every credible workplace-safety program in the world: Culture, Compliance, Communication, Coaching, Continuous improvement. They're the spine of ISO 45001 and the leadership frameworks the best EHS teams already run on.

We named the company after them because that's what the platform is built to support. Every feature ladders up to one of the five Cs. When we're deciding whether to ship something, we ask which C it serves — and if the answer isn't immediate, we don't ship it.

The five Cs
  1. C 1
Culture — safety as a daily constant, not a quarterly review.
  2. C 2
Compliance — audit-grade evidence on every incident, every shift.
  3. C 3
Communication — the right alert to the right person in seconds.
  4. C 4
Coaching — specific feedback to specific workers, with the clip to back it up.
  5. C 5
Continuous improvement — the data your safety program never had before.
From framework to feature

The five Cs, supported in software.

Most safety platforms pick one C and call it a category. C5 Safety AI is built to put all five into the operator's day. Here's how each maps to the product.

C1 · Culture

Live monitoring on every camera, every shift. Leaders see the floor in real time, workers know the cameras matter, and "safety culture" stops being a poster on the wall. The platform is the daily constant.

C2 · Compliance

Snapshot + 10-second pre-roll clip on every confirmed incident. PDF and CSV exports for auditors. Filterable by site, severity, violation type, worker, date range. Aligned with ISO 45001 Clause 9 evidence requirements.

C3 · Communication

Webhook dispatch to Slack, Teams, SMS, PagerDuty, EHS systems. Escalation banners for EMERGENCY events (fall, fire). Multi-site rollup so one safety lead sees every plant on one screen. Sub-second from camera to operator.

C4 · Coaching

Worker re-identification (privacy-controlled) lets you trace an individual across cameras and across shifts. Pattern alerts surface repeat offenders. Every conversation comes with the clip attached — specific feedback beats generic toolbox talks.

C5 · Continuous improvement

Insights tab: violation trends, occupancy heatmaps, per-zone risk ranking. Aggregate analytics show which detections drive incidents and where to focus the next intervention. Detection models update monthly — the platform gets better while you use it.

The shorthand

If a feature doesn't ladder up to one of the five Cs, we don't build it. If a customer's pain doesn't map to a C, we name the gap honestly — see below. That's the whole rulebook.

Why now

The bottleneck isn't the model anymore.

By 2026, computer-vision models have crossed the threshold where a generic detector catches most workplace PPE violations reliably out of the box. Accuracy is no longer the gate.

The bottleneck is deployment friction — the gap between "the model works" and "the model is running on every camera at your plant, with the right people getting the right alerts." Closing that gap is the entire job. That's the software we're building.

9
Categories of workplace risk monitored continuously — from PPE to vehicle hazards.
27+
Specific hazards detected, all included in every paid tier — no per-feature paywalls.
500ms
Live preview latency, browser-based. Sub-second from camera to operator screen.
30min
Single-site deployment time on existing CCTV. Install, scan, assign, launch.
Honest gaps

What we don't have yet — said out loud.

Every vendor in this category has gaps. Most pretend they don't. We'd rather you find out from us, before purchase, than from your security team after.

In progress ISO 27001 / SOC 2 certifications +
We don't have ISO 27001 or SOC 2 Type II yet. Audit work is underway with a target completion in Q3. Until then, we share our security posture document on request and can answer detailed vendor-questionnaire items in writing.
Coming soon Public reference customers & case studies +
We have early customers and pilots, but our first public case studies ship in the next two quarters. If you'd like to talk to a current customer under NDA before then, ask sales — we'll arrange it.
Active work Generic fire/smoke false positives +
A general-purpose fire model will trigger on welding sparks, sunset reflections, and orange hi-vis vests under certain lighting. We address this with verification layers (multi-frame confirmation, zone-specific thresholds, vest-class suppression) and recommend pairing with site-specific tuning during onboarding. We tell you the trade-off; we don't pretend it doesn't exist.
Roadmap Native mobile apps (iOS / Android) +
The dashboard today is a Progressive Web App — it works on any tablet or phone browser, installs to home screen, and runs offline for cached views. Native iOS and Android wrappers are on the roadmap for later in the year.
Considered & declined Cloud-hosted SaaS option +
We deliberately don't offer a cloud-hosted version where camera frames are uploaded to our servers. The buyer profile we serve — industrial sites in regulated industries, often in regions with data-sovereignty requirements — has rejected that model and so have we. Self-hosted is the product. If you need a managed deployment on your own infrastructure, Enterprise covers that.
Who we are

A small team, by design.

C5 Safety is built by a focused team that ships. We don't have a sales floor. We don't have an SDR queue. When you book a demo, you talk to the people who built the product and will help you deploy it.

We work across the Gulf, India, and the Pacific — deliberately positioned for the industrial buyer in the regions we know best: petrochem, construction, manufacturing, logistics. Our roadmap is shaped by direct conversations with site safety leads, not by analyst reports.

Manifesto
"Every safety program in the world is built on the same five Cs — Culture, Compliance, Communication, Coaching, Continuous improvement. Most software supports one or two and calls it a category. We built a platform that supports all five, on cameras the customer already owns."

Where we are

Three countries. Industrial reach where it matters.

Industrial customers don't want a vendor on a different continent when an install needs a site visit. We're positioned where the deployments are — hands on the ground in the Gulf, depth across India, and an engineering anchor in the Pacific.
